What percent of fans at the U of M game will be Bison fans?

30-40%

U students are infamous for being there for only the first half and then jetting to get hammered (more) in Dinkytown. Especially after that debacle against NM State last weekend. Plus the inherent factor that they are playing an "inferior level team" and their history of losing to said teams tends to downgrade the amount of Goof fans that roll out of bed to make the game.

I think more like 15,000 to 20,000. There have been a lot of tickets for sale for a long time.

I think it's because they are ridiculously overpriced.

You might be right about that but my point is that is an NDSU fan really wants to go, they can get a ticket. So I don't think the "smaller stadium" piece plays into it all that much.

The capacity is 50K and the season ticket holders is 30K.

I believe ndsu had 2000 tickets.

Capacity at TCF Bank is close to 45,000 (anyone know the exact number?). 12,000 Bison fans would be between 25% and 30%. That is what I expect this time around.

Official capacity is actually 50,805. But I think there will be over 10K Bison fans.

Agreed. I think that sounds about right. Many are not very persistant in getting tickets when they know it is sold out.

Any checked how prices are running versus face value on those broker sites? Do those sites drop prices as game time nears?

I have quite a few people from this area going. We have 6 tickets, the rest of them are going to scalp them the day of the game.....Go Bison!!
