Note this is the "largest crowd ever" at their home field.

On the "why this game will be interesting" note, they have a 6'3" 401lb sophomore lineman. Yep, not a typo. Wonder if big fella ever sees the field. Or anything below his waist for that matter.

Being that English is not my first language, this seems like an a oppurtune time to ask: Where does the phrase "soup can" come from?

...the official attendance of 2,338 is the largest crowd in the history of DeGol Field, and perhaps in Saint Francis football history.

When I used to coach soccer, there were always two things I hated to hear, we can't win and we can't lose. I hope we don't take this game too lightly. I looked on their web site and saw that in 2009, they played N. Iowa and lost 30-0. Last year, they lost to Cal Poly 41-33. Their last two games with Robert Morris, they have lost 28-0 and 35-14. In fact, overall they are 2-23 against Rob Morris.
They made a real jump in 1993, going from NAIA DIII to NCAA IAA. They have had no one make the pros since 1952 so this is not a program with any real traditions. Their stadium seats 3,500 so it probably didn't take much to set an attendance record for the game in the video.
I looked up the (6'3") 401 pound OL player. It said that he played in 7 games last year so he does get to play. It said that he played basketball in high school and was an all-star at the district. They also have a 372 pound DL player. One probably can assume that neither would be able to play for "who" as they couldn't possibly have any of that crazy speed.

We will beat this team even worse. The Lafayette could have been 60-0 on saturday. They moved the ball in the 4th on our 2nd/3rd stringers.

I wouldn't be too worried about being overconfident....

    NDSU 53

    St. Francis 21

Some garbage points in the fourth. Chalk it up as a "w".

Here's what St. Francis has averaged in attendance since 2005:

    2010 - 1,721
    2009 - 1,404
    2008 - 1,006
    2007 - 1,236
    2006 - 1,028
    2005 - 1,141

Our volleyball numbers are better than that.
