I went to Fargo South, grew up across the street from him, had family barbeques and remember sitting with the neighborhood as we watched him play for the GIANTS. But really interesting to know you remember him better then anyone even though you couldnt remember wut NFL team signed him. Good memory!!
Tony is an all around amazing person! Was really thrilled when my father Sam Neis went into the Fargo South HOF in the same class as Tony!!
The whole concept...with Tony as a sophomore. What a great, great team. Check out the second one. Has a another big run by Tony. He could have played for any college team. With the right NFL team...a real player. CAS described it best. Watch the guy run. He knew exactly where he was, and where the defenders were. A work of art. And oh...if you needed a big play...he delivered.

If you wore the uniform...you're a champion.
I've heard this from my Dad too. Always uses Tony as an example when he bitches about local kids, cough cough McGovern, qvale, going to big schools. Be a big fish in Devil's Lake (always getting bigger) and be a legend, or go be an ok fish in Sacagawea and get forgotten when you are gone..I'll take being the local legend in North Dakota every time. The whole concept...with Tony as a sophomore. Off topic...sort of...
What the heck ever happened to Tony's little brother Brock? He was also a beast for Fargo South. That '89 boys BB team could have beaten quite a few small college teams. They were REALLY good. I think Brock went to a DI school somewhere for track. Is that right? He was such a stud in HS and then I never heard from him again.

Great guy, some great stories, a great tailgater and a son who has a silly good future. Great family.
Everyone just relax, all right? Believe me, if there's one thing Ron Burgundy knows, it's women.
This is great news. Tony is my favorite RB of all time. Congrats to him.
He is even in front of my favorite Bison LB of all time, Charlie Stock
