    Ryan Smith and Austin Richard deserved at least an honorable mention, that said I'm very happy with being picked second. The last few years the team picked first has tanked, it has been a curse and I hope UNI enjoys it.

    Pretty sure there really hasn't been a team that was picked 1st the past couple of years can be classified as tanking...unless you have a differen't definition of what that means.

    By tanked I mean their season went to crap...

    2010 SIU(5-6)
    2009 UNI(7-4)
    2008 NDSU(6-5)

    All of those teams didn't qualify for postseason, heck all of those teams faced a lot of struggles and adversity. SIU had countless injuries, UNI had QB issues in 2009 and well I think we all know what happened to us in 2008. If you are the preseason pick to win the conference, missing the playoffs is a failed season.

    Great! With the number 1 purple pussies in front the Bison are well positioned to win the MVFC. Can't wait for NDSU to crush UNI at the Fargodome this year.
