Bison FB recruits win hoops honors

Several Bison football recruits have won awards for their performances on Minnesota high school basketball courts this winter.

Joey Sonnenfeld, 6'4" from Osseo, was named to the AAAA all-tournament team at the Minnesota State high school tourney. He also won a dunk contest at the Minnesota State Boys Basketball Coaches Association All-Star Series.

Frank Veldman, 6'4" from Eastview, was named first-team all-conference in the South Suburban Conference. The other four players named will all likely play D-I basketball. Veldman and CJ Smith, 6'0" from Burnsville, were both named to the conference's all-defensive team.
