Preview: "North Dakota State Bison fans remember Mike Fairbairn for what he did on the football field. A four-year starter at defensive tackle, Fairbairn was a staple in the interior line of one of the better defenses in the Football Championship Subdivision (FCS).

From 2006 until 2009 Fairbairn started 41 games for the Bison. He helped to bolster a defensive line next to guys like Justin Frick, Joe Lardinois and Matthew Gratzek. Fairbairn found his name in the starting lineup during his freshman and sophomore seasons when, in 2006 and 2007, the Bison finished with back-to-back 10-1 seasons."
