Default Fargodome Attendance ideas to increase attendance to save program

Can we have thread of ideas on how to help NDSU athletics fill the Fargo Dome for football games...I saw attendance was 16300 this week for 2nd game of the season.

The best idea I have is to give away tickets to middle schools/high schools within 90 mile region of Fargo to help develop younger fans and get potential students on campus.

Add more scanners on west side of doors to help people get in the door faster. This takes 20 minutes just to get in the door most games (in addition to 30 minutes waiting in tailgate line waiting to get parked). So Saturday I spend around 50 minutes waiting in line to get in places.

Gonna guess this thread will quickly devolve into the "you know what" discussion...

Before we get into that I'd propose to lower prices in certain areas (like double letter endzone rows) and/or do more ticket promos (like family 4 pack for $100 or some such). Plenty of other things could make an impact but that would be the most effective and probably easiest IMO.

After this being hashed out almost everyday for the last 4 years thats the best you could come up with?

The best thing to do is to start counting game day attendance as tickets sold rather than butts in seat.

Has anyone with the Dome Authority had the balls to go on record and say why they don't have Wifi? While I don't think that fixes everything, it is beyond baffling and they should be ashamed.

    1) better competition. The good games are sold out

    2) improvements to the dome. That's coming

    3) attracting younger fans. That comes with student engagement. Those are future fans and future Teammakers

    4) targeted youth advertising. Old school TV advertising is fkr dinosaurs. Adverise targeting young people

Can't be too good though because I've seen what happens to attendance in seasons when NDSU has a 25% chance of losing a home game.
