Had the NCAA known all of this was going to happen, it likely would have lamanated the first statement/response and sent it along with a with a sticky stating "Hint, Hint!!"

They issued press releases announcing that they stopped using the nickname. It only makes sense to let the public know that they reversed that position as a result of the petitions being filed in Bismarck. In case you haven't heard, UND is fond of press releases.

Ironically, that's a picture from Canada.BBR just sent me a photo from a "save the sioux" rally up in el forko grande this afternoon....they appear to be having a very mild winter up there.
I bet you won't be able to tell how I know that from just looking at the picture.
