    Try to keep up.

The only reason some people get lost in thought is because it's unfamiliar territory.

Few things that give me more glee than folks finding out not all Native Americans think the same as the powers that be. You can make this up....you had folks telling schools largely made up of Native Americans that they can't use Native American nicknames.

I probably didn't know Wop was an ethnic slur when I was in high school and we were playing the Wahpeton Wops.

I didn't know that either. I thought it meant a spirit. It seems hard to believe that a bunch of people were offended by this.

This is stunningly ignorant and or revisionist.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie

Seems people are offended by anything these days. Folks are far too soft anymore.

Nothing worse than white liberals telling ethnic groups what should offend them.
