Bullcrap. NDSU had three shots to win it on offense and a ton of shots at ending it on defense. NDSU didn't step up and EWU did.

Yes, the ref crew were morons and a blown call is no way to end a game, but the refs didn't stop NDSU on 2nd and 3rd down and they didn't drive the length of the field and score.

The pass interference call was close and could have gone either way. It wasn't totally blown like the fumble call. Still, the fact remains: EWU had converted two fourth downs and driven 76 yards before that call after stopping NDSU when NDSU had a 2nd and 2. Refs had nothing to do with any of that.

Use it as motivation, but I don't see the need to insult EWU. True, their lone fan on this boardis a jackass, but it's also true that Lakes is being a whiny little bitch.

Oh yeah? Turn the tables and imagine EWU losing that game the way the Bison did and tell me you wouldn't be stewing over it if the Bison made it to the National Championship. You won't find loyal and die hard fans like we are many other places. We want to win. We don't accept losing. Especially when the game is decided by the refs and not by the teams on the field. Yes, we have to remember that Jones went almost untouched the "Next play", one which we had the chance to prevent, but took poor angles and otherwise defended the play poorly. It sucks, but it's true--a third down "conversion" does not equal a TD.
