Biggest problem facing the team is the conference, because without question MVFC is top notch. Big Sky has nothing on it. Hopefully NCAA continues to recognize that fact and bring 3 teams to the tournament.

FYI, the MVFC lost 2 of 3 first round playoff games and that could impact playoff selections next year.

I am proud of this team. Next year should be better. This years team stepped up and gave it there all. This team has nothing to be ashamed of.

After the loss today, I thought it would be great to focus on the positive.

1. All four quarterbacks are coming back. We have a nice verbal at QB so we have experience.

2. DJ McNorton- 1559 yards rushing 15 TD (great job!)

3. The incredible freshmen- Turner, Hinz, Sigers, Olson, Perry, Williams, Heagle, Murphy, Jensen, Jirik, Drevlow, Smith,

4. Willson, Evans, Jemmison

5. The incredible fr/rfr in the wings- Calhoon, Wahlo, Vraa, Gebhart, Hudson, (Crockett?), Littlejohn, Emmanuel, Dudzik, Carter, Gimmestad, Jerve, Jacobs, Schueller, Pomerenke. ect

6 Perry, Drevlow, Jirik, Boyer, Stockzynski

7. Can we finally stop with the orgasm over the SDSU athletic program. Say what you want about Bohl, but 5/8 seasons he has had 8 or more wins. SDSU over that time has had 1. Let me repeat...that number is 1.

I can't fault Western Illinois for their loss but UNI royally screwed the pooch this year. MVFC champ and they lose to Lehigh. They should voluntarily sit out the playoffs next year as punishment for such an embarrassment.
