Yep. I was thinking the same thing. Like I said earlier in another thread, a loss this year won't bug me that much but a loss 9 years ago still irritates the hell out of me.

Knowing now how the subsequent seasons have gone, I'm finally ready to let this one go. Coincidentally, this was the game that reignited my love for Bison football after moving out of North Dakota in the mid-80s, so there's that too.

Was at this game and watched from the top row of the metal bleachers on the visitors side. After the game I remember turning away from the field looking at the beauty (cough) of Cheney, Washington and thinking to myself...I wonder how many years it would take for the Bison to make it again to the quarterfinals. Unbelievable decade of Bison football and will never be replicated. So excited for Saturday’s game to watch it continue!

Hmmm. Not exactly the thought I had while on the east end zone tampon turf. I was wondering who possibly had the horses to get in our way for a national title the following year. That 2010 team was extremely young with guys like Marcus Williams starting as true freshman. All they needed was development at the QB position.

At that point I knew with zero doubt that the Bison would be a top 5 team for at least the next 3 years (through the 2013 season). Still impossible to expect the full extent of the continued dominance.

same weekend the metrodome collapsed. ..

however, I did see a girl in SpokeCompton making out with a guy on a barstool and another girl walked up to her and threw her off of him to the ground and punch the guy right in the nose knocking him out , grabbed the bottle of beer and walked right out the door.

OF COURSE we followed her out. #IWasSingleThen hahaha.
