I can "confirm" that there are smaller boards on the back side (I would post a pic, but the Dome Nazis would probably sack me). From the top row in the endzone the board is approx the same size as the far large endzone board by perspective.

We were told the boards would cover the endzone peasants. We don't need to see that. Some of them are even from Moorhead. Moorhead! Where's the wall we were promised?!

They do this at Carver-Hawkeye Arena. They have T.V.'s embedded on the backside of the video boards so those at the top can see what's going on on the court better.
