Dome Upgrades

I was on the fence whether or not to make the trip to Fargo for the game. 2 things tipped the scales: the night game and I wanted to see the scoreboards in person before I saw them on TV.

Well that makes sense then, they did it that way to boost ticket sales.

Where are the top secret pics? Nobody could sneak a grainy photo or two of the installed units with no power on........just to see how big they look?

They look about 100' wide and about 30' tall, plus or minus.

The big boards have a presence about them. With everything that's been installed I'm extra excited to see how they're going to leverage it all for game day.

Well they have to build a new one with lots of space on the bottom, you know, thinking of the future.

So does this upgrade put us on top? I know SDSU did it first, then UNI. But nobody blew it up like this.

Hanging 20'x40' video board banners so they are easier to update.

I'm just working on the rigging/rope work - I haven't found out for sure what I'm tying on yet.

Naww. They've added vinyl numbers to the existing banners each year since the new ones were printed.
Maybe they'll just squeeze the new year in the border somewhere..
