Nerves. A lot of athletes in important competitions get this feeling. You'd be surprised how often it happens. It's not a bad thing. Shows that whatever competition the individual is partaking in means a lot to them.

Bathroom situation was pretty bad today before the marathon. Part of that was guys not using the urinals. Dang near everybody was waiting for stalls. I stood in line for 6-7 minutes and when I got around the corner there was only one guy at the urinals.

I'm a pretty fair runner, but I've never felt a pressing need to shit right before a race. WTF?

Relative runs for Columbia. Says she has had to legit go behind a tree in Central Park numerous times. She has some very interesting stories regarding bowel movements and running.

I avoid the lines by not running marathons...or at all.

Easily 5 figures. And there would be other events at an NDSU owned stadium, which NDSU would get a cut of.

Also: revenue from club seating, higher cut from concessions, higher cut from tailgating, expanded tailgating options, additional saleable sponsorship space, permanent team store...

Also: huge financing bill unprecedented in NDUS and guaranteed no money from the state, extra maintenance costs, extra admin costs, extra event staff, competing with FD for events(lower revenue for each)... "5 figures" won't even make a dent in this. Like it or not we're stuck with the Dome(which is still one of the best stadiums in the FCS and even the G5) until it reaches normal end of life.

It's cute compared to ours although their ribbon display is pretty cool

I get ridiculously fatigued even DRIVING 26.2 miles. *
