Doubtful. They're worse the closer you get to them, the pixel spacing on them is probably worse (larger) than the BSA board

Mother and grandmother or great-aunt or something. The buildings aren't named that way because of money, but because of the impact those women had on NDSU. Jessie Slaughter-Burgum was the either the first woman to attend NDSU or the first woman to graduate(can't remember which). That's why a women's dorm was named after her*. Katherine Killbourne-Burgum was a dean at NDSU(first female?), a major player in the creation and growth of what is today the College of HD&E, and the person who got construction of the FLC pushed through(why it was renamed in her honor).

*They planned to name what is now Ceres Hall after her, but she hadn't yet married at the time. No one wanted a Slaughter Hall or Slaughter House. So they shelved the idea and came back to it a few decades later.

Does a downtown stadium work for you?

I think we should put the old boards outside if they are weather proof. Could be very useful to pass info on to fans or even air some cool videos. Would add to the atmosphere and look impressive.

Heck put 2 on the west side above the over hang and another where the students line up so they have something to look at. They are old but still very good for outside usage.

Or what about at the indoor track facility? They really don't have a video board. An old one is better than no board.

Or what about outside on the shac or at Dacotah Field? Maybe 2 outside the dome, 1 outside the SHAC, and another outside at Dacotah for soccer or for camps? Would certainly add to the wow factor for campers.

My opinion they would be too small to be of much use outside besides they are way too blurry for text unless you use large font. The students line up under a canopy so that is out. Wouldn't want one of those ugly things on the outside of the SHAC... Track facility is good idea though but again if they use small font which they almost would for most track stuff would be unreadable. Dacotah could use one...

    50% you're getting better!

I like the outdoor tv idea.

    There's room on campus.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
