Everyone knows that the Dome Needs to either be expanded or replaced at some point in the future. I wish we (Fargo) were smart enough to put that money away until that day comes. Until then, use it as intended as a maintenance fund for the current Dome with the idea that the current FFD is not the long term plan. It would be awesome to put together a 10 year plan where the dome tries to grow that fund to 50 million, NDSU puts up 50 million and the voters put up 50 million to get the deal done.

We all live in stories... It seems to me that a definition of any living vibrant society is that you constantly question those stories... The argument itself is freedom. It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow. When you can't retell for yourself the stories of your life then you live in a prison... Somebody else controls the story. - S. Rushdie
As audit alluded to maybe... MAYBE a 50 year plan that would work but in 50 years $150 mill aint going to cut much. Heck even 10 years from now it will not get you much unless you go strictly outdoor stadium which then kind of negates the taxpayer and fargodome even being a part of it then.
As someone who's actually played in the Dome, HS gyms, street parades in front of 1M live people, professional concert halls, and many other venues, I can tell you with absolute certainty our Dome has excellent acoustics, for a stadium. It'll never come close to a well designed auditorium and it's not meant to.
That I'll agree with. I've probably seen a thousand concerts over the years and It's not too shabby for a LARGE venue but it's obviously not even in thr same ballpark as the civic. Now back before they added the sound panels it was very tinny sounding. The only reason I brought it up is because someone said thr civic wasn't better than the dome for acoustics.

NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.
That's awesome. Stuff like that certainly helps with the wow factor. The donors have done a great job with upgrades lately. Whether it's the new trophy case in the coaching offices, new championship hallway mural, new locker room upgrades with lights, and now the player lounge.

Players lounge looks good. I think Bisonville needs a VIP lounge.
Don't matter. FIVE-PEAT!
