TSN again proves it is the worst poll in all of FCS.

We moved up 7 spots. That's a bigger jump than I expected.

That's good since the Sports Network poll is harder on us. The coaches poll will probably rank us higher. Nice to see Indiana State, Western Illinois, and Southern Illinois get some votes too. Being #2 in the MVFC has to bode well.

Who do we want to see lose next week?

That is an interesting question because if the Bison win we want all the teams in front of us to lose. But really win or lose we want Montana to lose, that is the big one.

I don't think so, clenzy. All the teams ahead of us swirled around in 1-12 all season. We hadn't lost to SIU, we'd be top seven.

There are a couple reasons I shake my head week after week with this poll Cappy.

I can't complain too much about where teams are ranked in the top 14 or so (Montana excluded), but after that it starts getting bad, the ORV is bad, as is the first place votes.

This is probably their best work of the season, but that isn't saying much.

Montana at #11, you have got to be kidding me. Name recognition alone there folks. NO WAY Montana should be ahead of UNI, and probably NDSU for that matter. We beat Kansas, they beat.....nobody and have only 6 DI wins.

Well Montana did beat UND. And if you read the smack forum there is a wonderful post discussing UND's role in the BCS national championship race. For those reasons I'm surprised Montana isn't ranked higher.
    Don't matter. FIVE-PEAT!
