    Default 2011 Recruiting

Who are the up and coming juniors the Bison should be looking at? Connor
McGovern-Fargo Shanley, 6"5" and 270lbs. Will be a 4 year starter for Steve Laqua and has been all state twice so far. Getting looks from Missouri and others, would be good to keep this kid at home.

I moved some of the posts to the "Lane Kiffin's interesting verbal" thread in the "News about other schools" forum.

I agree about McGovern being a top 2011 prospect in North Dakota next year (heck, he is probably the #1 prospect in the state.)

Mussman took a page out of Bohl's book and offered McGovern a full scholie on signing day for the 2011 class. Connor is probably the #1 Jr in ND at this point, no question, doesn't know if he wants to play OL or DL. MAC also showing a lot of interest in McGovern, especially Solich and McIlhenney at Ohio U.

Here's what rivals has us down for in 2011 so far. Only 4 guys, one is from Memphis. They have Tyler Gefroh on there too. Didn't he just sign with us for this year.

I think ISU might also be looking at him. We had some success signing two kids from the Dakotas this year.

Default NDSU offers class of 2011 DL from Wisconsin

NDSU has offered Milwaukee Marquette DL Mark Scarpinato (6-3, 250).

While noteworthy, don't get too excited as he'll likely garner Big Ten scholarship offers.

Glad to see Bison coaches are hard at work already for 2011 recruits. Hey SDSU coaches, did you get a clue after this past season.......don't worry it wouldn't help you to start recruiting early because once a recruit sees Brookings he won't want to verbal or sign there anyway. But you guys do have a dykhouse.......is that pronouced Dick or Dyke?
