Kahla Becken verbals Bison
5-8 guard Kahla Becken of Centennial has verballed North Dakota State. A 2009-2010 honorable mention AP All State, HM St. Paul Pioneer Press All State, and AAAA Coaches All State selection, Kahla averaged 6.1 ppg for the 21-7 Cougars last year. Becken played with MN Stars Borowicz during the club season.

Her sister does play at Northern State. I've seen Kahla play a few times. She's a nice player. Pretty steady player. Welcome Kahla!

Centennial has started off their season: 2 tough losses to Eastview and DeLaselle.
kayla had 5 points in the Estview loss and i in the loss to DeLaSelle.

This is a bit off the subject but the Trib article also mentions Tessa Cichy,form Hill Murray. There is a Steve Cichy as-
sociated with some of the Hill Murray sites, does anyone know if this is Sid's son? If so, her dad was one of the best FB
players to come out of ND and had a stellar career at Notre Dame. I wonder if we are recruiting her as well.
