Let's get it added to his resume so the Buchanan voters are aware of Kyle's talent on both sides of the ball!

It's mentioned in the body of the story.

Everyone has mentioned that Kyle is a little too small to play DE and would have to play LB, yet Brian Robison is almost the exact same size as he is 6'3" 259pds. I believe Kyle will get a great shot at the NFL.

There is no question KE deserves the BBA more than anyone. When you look at past winners, his stats blow them out of the water. But....

BUT! NDSU plays in the MVFC, which is not the Big Fluffy or the exaggerated excellence of the CAA. Inexplicably, Big Fluffy players have won 9 of the last 11 BB awards, the CAA players have won the other two. How the hell nine guys can win a defensive award in a freaking conference that plays no defense is a complete and utter mystery to me.

Read the stat lines for some of the other DEs that have won recently. KE should win hands down.

The guy who won with the largest vote margin in history was from JMU. I think KE's stats compare favorably to Moats.

2009, Arthur Moats, DE, James Madison
-- Moats was named the 15th recipient of the Buck Buchanan Award. Moats is the second JMU player to capture the Buchanan Award, joining linebacker Derrick Lloyd, who won the honor in 2001. Moats, a 6-foot-2, 250-pound senior from Portsmouth, Va., led the nation in tackles for loss, averaging 2.14 per game (23.5 total), and was fourth in the FCS in sacks (1.0 per game, 11 total). He also piled up 90 tackles and returned a fumble for a 68-yard touchdown. Moats won by the largest margin in Buchanan Award history, earning 37 first-place votes and 342 points to finish 110 points ahead of runner-up J.C. Sherritt, a linebacker from Eastern Washington. Moats was selected by the Buffalo Bills in the sixth round (178th overall pick) of the 2010 NFL Draft. He signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers in 2014.

Watching him knock 300+lb lineman to the ground and run down David Johnson and Zenner makes me think "poor mans Clay Matthews III"
