This is a great honor and a tribute to the coaching staff and the emphasis they place on academics.

I have a good friend whose son is a RFr and I know the coaches are on them if they miss class or don't do well. The coaches monitor classroom progress very closely. This is a suberb achievement.

For the record, last time I looked, SDSU was middle of the pack, at best. No way to spin this one for anybody. But, they aren't the worst either.

I'll be "that guy" and throw some UNI "love" at you.
Look at who your company is on the award roster. It is you guys and Indiana State from our conference, the likes of Duquesne, S. Utah and Alabama St. And, gotta love the reps from the Colonial, who both dropped football in the past year!!
OK, enough ribbing. Seriously, congrats. That really is an honor and something to be university-proud of.

Just noticed that the Big South didn't have a most-improved team. Nobody in the conference improved their APR from last year? Ouch.

Disclaimer: Big South has a lot of new teams so this may the first year that some of them had an APR - there must be some extenuating circumstances.
