Maybe MSUM will drop basketball so they can start a DI hockey program that nobody will care about. Why don't they fund their major sports over there?

Maybe they should look into forming a CO-OP with Crookston for Sports.

Totally agree with Engen's statement. Without support from the administration, you cannot expect much more than they have gotten.

This says it all. I like Stu Engen and this makes me sad.

I used to cheer on MSUM. No longer. I don't care about their record. It is the AD's job to get some funding into scholarships. He ran the Tomeo ordeal like a complete GONGSHOW, and now he fires the best thing in his department.

If you have half the scholarships of the other schools, you will lose. Pretty simple. Maybe the AD should quit kissing up to the hockey people in the world and take care of business at hand. How do you think Stu liked the AD on the radio bragging about all of this hockey money when he is playing with half a deck because they can't fund scholarships. Ashamed to be a fan.

With the lack of administrative and financial support at MSUM for athletics it will be hard for them to get a quality coach like they had in Engen.
