I don't get where this thread is tailing off to. Both are excellent ballers and both work their buns off. Neither should be challenged regarding their work ethic and commitment - especially by this board. This is one area where the positives of each should be touted.

I believe Herd hit the nail on the head earlier.

Last year he was the 4th option, this year he's the 1st option. That is the biggest reason IMO for these stats. A little more pressure in Mike this year, and you can see him forcing the action at times.

Last year, almost every shot was a quality shot. This year he is having to create his own shot.
