I know it's a long shot considering all the pieces we just lost, but we only have to win 4 games in Feb/March to make it. What do you think it would do for NDSU or for the basketball program? Would we get the support needed to build the new arena? Would basketball overshadow football as the main sport at NDSU? Nothing?

Wouldn't three games in March be enough? (As long as we finish in the top eight in the regular season). It would certainly help recruiting and the image that basketball has at NDSU.

Depends on what happens with it. Could be any of the above.

Honestly....I wouldn't see a problem with NDSU becoming a basketball school. Then again, I come from North Dakota, where high school basketball is all that's cool, so I'm a bit biased.

I think a return trip would really open people's eyes and tell them "Yo, NDSU is for real. Give us some money for a new freaking basketball arena."

And hey, with the recruits we could attract with BSA v2.0, who knows what could happen?
