Like I said, Vernon's stats were like video game stats. I haven't seen Prukop play, maybe he has more physical tools/prototypical talent while being a decent runner.

Wow, a move from Missoula to Bozeman...

Montana defensive coordinator Ty Gregorak, a fiery leader with a track record of success, is taking his coaching experience to Montana State.

The 37-year-old will serve as defensive coordinator under Bobcats first-year head football coach Jeff Choate. Gregorak informed a gathering of Griz players on Monday.

    per AJ Mazzolini.....
Gregorak was one of 3 coaches retained by Stitt during head coaching changeover along with DL coach Legi and RB coach Green.
This being Stitt's 1st year in Missoula.....big change to lose one of those 3

He prolly just doesn't want to deal with coaching a D with a offense that takes .45 seconds off the clock and goes 3 and out, allowing for no rest or coaching of the D.

More on new Montana State Head Coach Jeff Choate hiring Montana's
    defensive coordinator Ty Gregorak

Gregorak and Choate met years ago through former Montana head coach Mick Delaney, who coached at Choate’s alma mater, Western Montana College (now UM Western).

“I’ve always felt we think about football in a similar way,” Choate said. “I think it should be a great fit.

And Gregorak also has this going for him.....

He is married to former Bobcats volleyball standout Kandice Kelly.
For those curious, she is pictured (with him) half ways down the page
over at bobcat nation in the Coaching Hotties thread.

Now, after losing Gregorak to Montana State, the U of Hawaii hires away Montana Defensive Line Coach Legi, one of only 2
coaches left from the previous staff before HC Bob Stitt was hired.
    Ah, Hawaii.....
