More good news for the Minnesota Gophers in their 2015 recruiting.
They went to Michigan again and got a verbal from a DB this time (got a TE earlier this week).
    Dior Johnson - 6' 2" 195 lbs - 4 stars with Rivals - 23rd verbal
Perhaps this is why the Gophers weren't offering a scholly to S Jaxon Brown from Eau Claire,
instead trying to get him as a preferred walk-on.

Were any of these guys offered by NDSU? Looking at the cities/schools that they're from, we have or had players from almost all of their hometowns.

I am so sick of the Bison already. Win this, win that, blah, blah, blah. I'd really, really like to know how they do it. I swear they have to be the luckiest sob's on the planet. Just sick of this bs, just fed up.

The only offer I can remember John mentioning was WR CJ Johnson from Bellevue, who verbaled to Wyoming.
IIRC he said it was a down year for Nebraska HS recruiting talent, as compared to Minnesota, which was an up year.

News from a top-ranked 2016 recruit from Minnesota:

East Ridge junior quarterback Seth Green says he has unfinished football business at the Woodbury school, but that doesn't mean he'll be back.

Green, who has verbally committed to play at Oregon, is hopeful about returning for his final season with the Raptors, but that isn't certain because of a potential job transfer for his father, Bryan, a helicopter pilot who served in Iraq.

Green, a four-star recruit by Rivals and the No. 8- ranked dual-threat high school quarterback in the nation, passed for 1,643 yards and 18 touchdowns and rushed for 433 yards and three TDs in 2014, leading East Ridge to the state tournament for the first time.

East Ridge HS was just mentioned in the 2016 NDSU recruiting thread by Herd890

Heard from a reliable source our coaching staff was in visiting coaches about East Ridge Jr. Alex Johnson - 5' 11, 165 lb SS.

This kid appears to have crazy closing speed.

    - Colton Beebe - 3 (stars) - FB/LB - Kansas City (Kan.) Piper - 6' 2" 252
    - Shannon Brooks - 3 (stars) - RB - Pickens County (Ga.) - 5' 11" 200
