    That's a good read.
Until the system is fixed, we might be in a better place where we are vs moving up to FBS?

“I do zero football anymore. Zero football in my life right now,” Hall said. “I do culture and recruiting.

“Most of my day is spent all across the southern United States raising money,” he said before pausing, “for NIL.”

    Would not want that job.

For the perennial powers in the FBS, maybe it has always been more about recruiting Jimmy and Joes than coaching the Xs and Os.

It's OK to not be OK.

North Dakota State, a football team the big boys of college football should avoid like the plague, helped christen a $90 million renovation to Snyder Family Stadium — including a statue of famed Kansas State coach Bill Snyder himself — by taking a sledgehammer to the place.

It's rumored that Villanova and William & Mary are considering joining them. The CAA is turning into the island of misfit toys - they over-expanded after JMU's departure and pissed off their longtime members by taking anyone and everyone who showed them interest (Campbell, Hampton, Monmouth, NC A&T) which bloated their membership to 15. Now they're going to lose two of their most recognizable programs in Delaware and Richmond along with potentially a few others. Much like the MVFC the CAA is its own football only conference and not associated with the CAA all sports conference. There's similar discussions to Summit League football when it comes to the America East schools in the CAA (UNH, Maine, Albany, Bryant - who is currently in the Big South, and maybe finding some others like Rhode Island to join them as affiliates) spawning their own league.
