It gets old seeing players pound their chest and stand over someone they just tackled on every play. Just seems more prevalent at P5 level, especially SEC players. And I watch a shit ton more P5 football than anything else. Forgive me for having an opinion.

SEC...southern states...sounds like a cultural complaint rather than a complaint about P5 guys.

Hell if I ever tackled one of those guys I'd pound my chest too

I didn't see what you said! But I'll assume you were wrong.

You all should have watched the Refcast version of the game. You could have heard several experts give perspective of calls throughout the game. I don't remember a DPI discussion n the first half, but there were 2 potential OPIs they debated. They were split on both. Those who felt it wasn't OPI didn't feel it was big enough to call. They did point out a miss on a runner touching his hand out of bounds but letting it go. They got on the replay guy as much because he could have stopped it and reversed it. I'm pretty sure 95% of the people watching it were officials, but there was a lot of good info there.

If we concentrated on the really important stuff in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles"

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.

It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Highlands Ranch (CO) quarterback Jake Rubley, a 4-star QB & Kansas State commit, confirms he is coming to Iowa to play his senior football season. Rubley told our sister station, KDVR in Denver, that he will be transferring to WDM Valley.

I believe I heard DP state this AM "I’d rather have NDSU (in the B1G) than Rutgers". Anyone else catch that?
