The results may not change much but the excitement level would go up for sure.
Yep. There’s too much guessing as to who deserves to get in with the current system. You play the games because this shit can happen and does. The best stories coming out of every March Madness tourney is the Cinderella story. Would be no different for football, even if it’s less likely to happen.

A private plane flew this morning from Boise to Bozeman, MT, where Montana State is (Jeff Choate).

That same plane is scheduled to fly directly this afternoon to Eugene, Oregon, where the University of Oregon is (Andy Avalos).

    Interesting to say the least...

Craig Hailey’s article on possible next Montana State head coach, if Choate were to land the Boise State job.
Plus, other FCS assistants who could be future Head Coaches, including a Bison assistant.....

Knew who it was going to be before even clicking. He's a good one for sure. Though I think the BSU job would be Avalos' to turn down.

Had to chuckle a bit at this line "The Big Sky, CAA and Missouri Valley conferences are the big three in the FCS, having produced the last 12 national champions" At least they are expanding it past the last nine now.

What if the committee tried to select the 4 teams most likely to be the top team, rather than the 4 best teams?

It's not that you come to a conclusion about it. Through that argument you change your mind sometimes... That's how societies grow.
