I like that people are harping on the forum for running mug shots on the top fold of the paper. Kolpack and the crew conducted themselves like gossiping old women in a small town church and not a how journalists in a growing metro area should. I talked to someone in California who said they heard about Kolpak posting information from MySpace pages that had not been updated in 2 years in a journalism class as WHAT NOT TO DO. Waaaay to go forum. BEST OF LUCK BLAKE stay positive brotha.
you are wrong- yes he was charged with DUI and minor in consumption at the same time- its public record- anyone arrested and charged with anything is listed in the public court docket- along with the disposition
http://publicsearch.ndcourts.gov/Cas...?CaseID=150806
either search by name or case # 09-09-K-02876
and as far as the conviction the editorial mentions - there is was a change of plea scheduled for 11/16/09- it doesn't list which charge he plead guilty to- Minor in Consumption or DUI or both. It will be on the same link within a week.
Its always easier to believe/make up what you want- then to actually take time to see if what is spewed is true.

Lakes he does have the option of going to trial if he feels he is innocent. If the evidence is against him then its in his best interest to plea it out.
The other scenario is he rolled over on his suppliers to get the plea deal.
But Im sure the cops were just bored and busted him for no reason.
