Who's the best player from a MT, SD, or ND school?

I was just thinking the same thing, maybe a kicker isn't truly a football player by ESPN standards? Vinateri would have to be the best known for sure. No one had as much impact on the NFL than Vinateri. I voted for Phil, hope he wins!!!

I'm sorry but there is as a reason Adam Vineteri is not on the list, he's a kicker! Kickers are on a football team yes, but they are not football players, they kick the ball and that's it. I think ESPN has many flaws but they got this one right, you don't put kickers on all-time best lists that include regular position players. Now if they had a poll for best kickers from ND, SD and MT then yes, Adam is the man but as far as best football player, I'm sorry but the answer is no.
