USD in Summit
Per SDSU beat writer Terry Vandrovec on Brookings Radio Sports Show this morning, USD will be admitted into Summit League at afternoon press conference today. Posts on SDSU board are saying the same thing as well....I'm sure media links will be coming soon.

except we are eligible for playoffs in all division 1 sports, we now compete against the likes of games in likes of USC, Wisconsin, Kansas, Minnesota in b-ball, we are members of the premier FCS football conference in the country, we set record fund raising amounts through teammakers, record enrollment numbers becoming the largest university in the state for the first time ever, research expenditures exceeding $150 million dollars, on campus improvements including the union, BSA, possible new arena, several new dormitories, new locker and team meeting area's in the Dome, etc, etc.
So yeah, right back wear we were 5 to 10 years ago. Lakes why do you let UND define how successful NDSU is?

The pressure will be to great and they will cave on the mascot issue as they are seeing what it costs them. I don't have a problem with either being in the Summit as long as they don't ever try to force us to leave the Missouri Valley for Football and have a all sport Summit conference.
