This has become a pretty serious situation over the last few hours. I have a strong feeling that NDSU will let and actually encourage students to help out in the effort. With no Fargo, there is no NDSU......

Concordia has now cancelled all Monday classes except for the 8:30 am classes so that students and staff can help. Hopefully NDSU and MSUM will follow suit.

I just heard a rumor that the river will be reaching nearly 42 feet this week. Does anyone have more information about the flood that can substantiate this rumor?

God I hope not... sandbagging is set for 40 feet... South Fargo could be totally wiped out if it hits 42 feet.

The Forum said 40 by 1 AM Friday, I have heard nothing of 42 feet and if it gets that high the city would be in a lot of trouble.
NDSU to the FBS always. In all ways.

latest crest is 41 as of 5pmish tonight, and they said 42 maybe, depends on all the precip we get this week and there is some ice in the Cheyenne and Wild Rice that is suppose to go into the Red River and that will also affect the crest
