My uncle lives a few miles north of Souris. I haven't heard anything from him. How bad is it and how bad is it supposed to be?

Sounds like Fargo Moorhead is supposed to only get a dusting from this snow storm. Not the 2-3 inches or whatever that was predicted.

Sucks for the people out west getting 8-10 inches though

Last I talked to her was Sunday night. Will call her again tonight to see how they are doing. They live right in town about a block from the old school. They had overland flooding about 3 year ago during the summer from heavy rain. Hope your uncle is doing well.

South Bismarck is getting hit by the Missouri River. Fox Island and Southport have been 'invited to evacuate', if I understood correctly. Someone else here should have more details...

My uncle got hammered by that summer. They live two miles west of 14 and 1 mile south of the border and have a few creeks running around the area. I'll have to put a call in tonight to see how things are. Thanks for the updates!!

I have a question and I am hoping someone can help me out here. I am living in my first house, and we've only been there for ~ 1 year. We live in South Fargo, north of 32nd Ave and just east of 25th St (by Rheault Farm). The previous owner said the house had no problems in '97.

How necessary is it for me to put drain plugs in at this point? I know the supply in town is quite limited, and I am not a plumbing expert, so I don't want to have to take the toilet off if I don't have to. Can anyone offer me any advice?

    Thanks in advance!
