His name is Joe Davis, and he's a troll. He came to our site (talkncaa.com) and started out pretty much the way it looks like he has here. But it won't be long before you'll see that change. He's been banned numerous times even as recent as last night for continuously creating multiple screen names. He has threatened other posters, told people that he wanted to kill them and make their families watch. He has posted pornography in threads without labeling it NSFW. He's a spammer. I don't know how many ridiculous threads a day he would post with useless garbage. Most of which was always ignored. So, he's pretty much a useless, lying, sack of shit troll. Just thought I would give you folks a heads up.

He may very well be all of that, but your "talkncaa" site hasn't had a single post related to college sports in over 6 months. You're site is even more phony than he is. The Bison on this board may well have concluded at this point that participation in the tournament isn't worth having to endure any more of this crap, and ban everyone who doesn't suck up to them. Just like theInsideCarolina board. Can't say I'd blame 'em.

I think there's a big difference between "sucking up" and presenting a genuine interest in sports. Frankly I don't find the invasion of various other colleges into our site too bad, so long as they're genuinely getting amped up for a big game. In this case, We've got one dude insulting another, one dude who's already become a demi-troll in just a few short days, and another dude saying "Eff that" and managing to insult us in the same post. Bravo.

    Hall of Shame this madness.

Well, I am a KU grad, class of '69, and I'm amped. I've attended hundreds of games in Allen FH. I've lived and (almost) died KU basketball for over 33 years, Through Owens, Brown, Roy and now Self. This tournament is the most interesting and exciting event in all of sports, IMO. So, I'm amped.

What your team has accomplished this year is remarkable, but not surprising. I hate that we have to play you guys because: (a) I like and admire your coach and team and I think it's cool that you made the tournament in your first year of eligibility (b) your fanbase, or at least those who post here, seem like good fans of both your team and college hoops in general and (c) your team is too good to be a 14 seed, and we got screwed with this matchup.

Frankly, I doubted we'd even make the tournament this year. We lost all 5 starters and 80% of our scoring, so I didn't expect anything. I doubted we'd finish in the upper 1/2 of the Big12.

And then we win the conference. And I thought, "Hey, we might have a legitmate shot at another FF." Ha! Crimson and blue glasses. Promptly thereafter, we crap out against the likes of Texas Tech and Baylor. Good lord!

From game to game, I have no idea what to expect from this current KU team. I do know you have a shot at kicking our a$$. I expect a close game. It could go either way. I'm nervous.

I wonder who will guard Woodside. Will it be Morningstar? Collins? (I expect some of each, as well as others helping out). Will we zone? If we zone, won't Woodside, et al., kill us from 3?

I worry about Cole's injury. He hasn't been the same since someone smashed his nose and also his foot is injured. I wonder if he can handle Moorman. Fully healthy, he put a clown suit on Hansbrough. But I worry about these injuries.

I don't like that we're so heavily dependent on Collins. As Collins goes, so goes this team. I wish somebody else, like Taylor, would step up. If they don't, it becomes a Sherron Collins one man show and the game can get out of control with turnovers and quick, forced, guarded shots by Sherron, with the other guys standing around with their thumbs up their butts. Run the offense!

I wonder if Morningstar will be able to hit anything from beyond the arc. He's suddenly turned ice cold.

I wonder why this team has sometimes played so poorly against less athletic teams.

I wonder why we turn the ball over so much. Dammit, value the ball!

I wonder why our guards don't get the ball inside to Cole more often. I wonder why Cole can't get off a shot or a pass before the inevitable double team clamps down.

I wonder why we so rarely string two halves of good ball together. We either get down double digits and struggle to come back, or we get up by double digits only to slack off and make it a nailbiter at the end.

I wonder if we have the maturity and poise to handle a mostly hostile crowd in Minneapolis.

I wonder if our freshmen Morris twins and Taylor are too young to handle the pressure. I fear your team is more mature and has tasted success against some pretty good teams.

I fear that if we lose in the 1st round this time around, Kansas basketball will forever be thought of as a "choke" artist in the tournament, even though the facts don't support that and it's a bum rap.

So, it all starts in about 36. For one of us, it will be all over about 2 hours later.

I too hate this waiting, waiting, waiting....

    May the better team win.

    Rock Chalk!

No doubt. Defense is a key weakness of our team, and while I don't doubt that our guys should (keyword, should) be able to match Kansas basket-for-basket (value of said baskets nonwithstanding), the fact is that our defense needs to stand tall. No second chances, so Moorms is going to need to be setting defensive rebounding records out there to minimize the number of shots the 'Hawks are making. If it comes to losing the ball, something the Bison have done with very little frequency this year, we're going to get hurt, and our offense is going to have to keep up their game even more.

    Rock Chalk!

I think that we kinda have this same worry in a way, we go as woody goes. If he is off we at times can really become a slightly above average offensive team.

To answer a KU guys question I think the fact that Taylor didnt even start for his HS team (dont take that as a he isnt good because he is good) will probably lead to him not really taking on a role where he will step up. That would be my thinking about it at least.
    NDSU Van Club

Lakesbison may be an idiot, but in the end he's our idiot.

Can we pretend that Jose Mohler passes are like shooting stars, cuz I would wish for a new O coordinator.

Taylor is a very athletic freshman. He's not Mario Chalmers. He's not taking over a game in the tournament this year. Maybe next year.
