    Who did we as fans expect more out of now that the hoops team has won the summit? Football or Hoops?

    I admit that I thought 'football.' I didn't imagine the Big Dance as being possible for some reason. I didn't believe it. Seemed out of range. I was wrong...really wrong.

    Basketball, because football could have been in the playoffs with an 8-3 record and not winning the conference. Basketball had a one-shot chance for the postseason with the Summit Tourney. No chance for an at-large.
