They lack that and a few other things. They still lack a road win (Summit League at neutral site) and a good point guard. Sargent and Callahan are shooting guards and Palarca is...well I don't know what, but he isn't the option. When the Jacks get a good point, even a JuCo, like some of the teams at the tourney they can contend for a top 3 spot IMO.

The Jacks, IMHO, have further to go and have more to prove than the Bison did one year ago. A year ago, the Bison were returning two first-team all Summit League players. The Jacks have talent, but they don't yet have that proven star player or two who everyone knows are going to be difference makers in a tight game.

I agree, they break down in close games

I think Cordova is starting to become one of those guys for the Jacks...

Cordova was dominant at times this season, and he was getting progressively better. A major caveat is that I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) Nagy often took Cordova out at the end of games--probably because he isn't a good free throw shooter (52%). It's hard to make a game winning play if you aren't on the floor.

    ....without crowd support.

They desperately need an on-court spark plug.

Not -often-, but he was out of the Oakland game after Benson fouled out. It's something I'd expected him to improve this year...

    Exactly.

They also played 'over their heads' against NDSU in Frost, and against ORU in the Arena. Again, with substantial crowd support.

But there's no one on the team who brings that fire onto the court. The WBB team had it in Megan Vogel, and they've got it now with Macie Michelson.

The WBB team also has the confidence in themselves the men's team lacks.
