Well, like, Mingo, Hippy Sticks' brother and sister both went to UNI, graduating in 1991 and 1993, respectively, like, so I do have some ties, bitch. I do admire their programs, like. They're, like, light years ahead of the Herd, man, in, like, everything. Division II is an asterisk to any program now in, like, the Big Leagues, groovy guy.

It is a great program. They have guys in the top 10 every year. Source for discussions of dropping it? That would major league suck.

Nothing super solid but it seems like the most probable situation. And I do agree it would suck.

I highly doubt they would cut wrestling in Iowa. There were a lot of UNI fans at the national tournament last year. Any Panthers fans know anything about this?

While it is true Iowa IS wrestling and wrestling IS Iowa, UNI has some pretty stiff competition from Iowa and Iowa State, which also have some pretty good wrestlers..... It's all just rumor and hearsay. I really hope they can hang on to the program. It's a great measuring stick for NDSU.
