NDSU has not beaten UNI in wrestling since the 76-77 season.

Today we came very close as UNI wins 21-17. The match came down to the HWT wrestlers and Tyler Hemmesch lost his match 1-0. UNI was ranked #21 in the country.

Yeah, it's pretty impressive that the #21 team in the nation had to take the last five matches to escape with a win. Without knowing the details about UNI's situtation, I'd say that the Bison team is making some definite progress.

The team wrestled really good at this dual and the SDSU dual. The guys seem to be peaking just in time for regionals. Im looking forward to see if we can keep wrestling like this and push some guys through to the nationals.

Well, like, Mingo, Hippy Sticks' brother and sister both went to UNI, graduating in 1991 and 1993, respectively, like, so I do have some ties, bitch. I do admire their programs, like. They're, like, light years ahead of the Herd, man, in, like, everything. Division II is an asterisk to any program now in, like, the Big Leagues, groovy guy.

What, like, can I say, dude? We live in their shadow, like, much as you, like, hate to admit it, man.
