Thread: What tourney should we attend?

    Default What tourney should we attend?

    We have a conflict. We can go to the summit tourney or to the National Independant tourney that will be held up in Grand Forks that same weekend.....Well, it is only a 2 day tourney in Grand Forks....because there are only 4 teams involved. But, that is an automatic bid to the semi finals for the 4 teams that are involved.

    UND, SIU-E, USD, & Seattle.

    What are you guys thinking about doing? I think I am going to stick with my plans to get to Sioux Falls, but I guess we could stay home, watch those 4 teams battle and then watch the finals of the Summit tourney on ESPN2? Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Didn't we win an independant tourney early on? I think the teams were a lot better than the ones that they have to offer up there, and I believe the tourney was somewhere down south too.

    They are actually having a 4 team BB tourney??? Are they also billing it the National Independent BB Championships? That is pathetic.

    Unbelievable...I get mine moved to "smack", but this hangs around. I think you should go see the Sioux win it all and then drive down to Sioux Falls? Do they get an auto bid into The Big Dance then? Wait...who cares about The Big Dance...they will be National Independant Champions. Now I am even thinking about going.
