Even though it might seem strange, if one looks at how many jobs a person has held might put it in perspective.
There also seems to be more player movement recently as kids see that there chances to play are going to be limited depending on the style of O or D the team plays and or who may be in front of him.
May be the kid just hasnt found the right fit yet. The days of high profile kids coming in and riding the pine for 5 years is over.

When you play football, you gotta like the taste of blood, And 50 percent of the time, it's your blood.
It is characteristic of the unlearned that they are forever proposing something which is old, and because it has recently come to their own attention, supposing it to be new.

Other than as an employer I might start to wonder if a potential employee was looking at his 3rd job in less than 3 years.
Unfortunately with a lot of these kids, the PARENTS are the ones that are the biggest problem. As a former college coach (not football), I dealt with it first hand. A lot of parents are just horrible.
Just listened to a Michigan radio show on the internet. On the Threet transfer prospects...They are now saying that he may go through spring ball and see how it goes and then make his decison.
This makes sense. It's too late for him to get into another program now and make their spring practices, so he might as well finish the semester and compete in spring practice to see how he does against the two new QB recruits. He comes from Adrian about 30 miles from Ann Arbor. Plus, he's a 4.0 student and Mich does have an excellent academic rep. BUT...he wants to start and if he can't do it in Ann Arbor, then he may pull the plug. The Wolverines finish their spring ball on 11 APR. Good chance we won't here anymore on this topic till after that. I'll keep my radar on and keep you posted.
Damn! Sounds like Eastern Michigan might be the insiders favorite on this. His family has connections with EMU as well as MIch. Ron English (former Mich DC) is the new head coach there. Would love to see Mr. Threet fading back and rolling out in Fargo. Stay tuned.
