"The Collegiate Volleyball Update (CVU) is pleased to announce its selection of North Dakota State as the 2008 Deep Digging Team of the Year.

Picking up 1,839 digs on the season, the Bison averaged 18.21 digs per set to finish third in the NCAA in that category. NDSU also finished with better than a 61 percent efficiency in digging opponents' attacks and nearly a 23 percent advantage in digs versus opponent kills.
