Anyone going? Gophers should do well as always. First look at the new Bison. Adam Aho won a title last year as well.

Kenny Moenkedick shared the title at 184 with his brother Phil (Concordia). Kirk Anderson (133) (lost to Jayson Ness) Gabe Mooney (141) and Adam Aho (165) finished second in their classes.

Anyone else think Gabe Mooney could qualify for NCAAs this year? Maybe not but I think he could have a good year.

Why did they share the title? Did they choose not to wrestle because they are brothers? (I know next to nothing about wrestling, so I don't know the reasons a match wouldn't happen.)

every year there is at least one match that ends up with shared champs
it usually is because of 2 gophers that dont want to wrestle each other

Anderson lost at '33 in the final to Ness, the #2 kid in the country. Bison had a freshman in the final at '25, Sprengle ?, but he lost to 5-time Minnesota state champ, Zach Sanders.

It's either that or you can only have so many matches in a day. That's the case for HS but I'm not sure about college.
