Mertens QB rating is 158.3 in the first half. Not bad. I didn't expect that.

Hey folks......got my other laptop out so I can watch and type at the same time!!

Some first half thoughts.....AP has really done a lot better than expected shutting down the run......I think we are missing Mr. Safe on the O Line. Also....why not pass more to open up that run? I think we need that ball in the air more. Clearly if we try and run like this against WYO, we will be in trouble. Also....special teams coverage was terrible....it darn well better improve.

All in all.....we are up by 20, but not outstanding play by the Bison.

I can tell you that I feel more confident now than I did last year versus Stephen F. Austin. I don't know..... perhaps last year's running game relied on Nate opening up holes.
