    Default Justin Juckem

Lookout, UND has thrown their name in the mix!

Last month Chilton TE/DE Justin Juckem (6-5, 245) racked up a PAC-10 offer, his third offer overall. On Tuesday he picked up his fourth offer, again from parts west of Wisconsin.

In a quick message this evening Juckem simply stated, "Today I received a full scholarship offer from North Dakota." Things are beginning to roll for Juckem but he is remaining focused on his final prep season. "At this point it seems like offers are coming in so the next step is to move forward with off season lifting and training for this coming senior year."

They make it sound like it's an amazing feat to get an offer from the trucks:

The state's (Wisconsin's) first known member of the class of 2009 to boast an offer from the Fighting Sioux, Juckem most likely won't be the last to garner an offer as Wisconsin has been one of UND's most fertile recruiting grounds.

umm, lets see PAC-10 or transitional, ineligible! If he is really that good I doubt UND has a chance! But at the same time, you don't know if you don't try!!

Even though Washington State is in the PAC-10, they are one of the lesser-profile programs...and Pullman, WA is way out in eastern ag. country...which isn't a bad thing...but it doesn't have the glamour of the other PAC-10 schools...which probably isn't news to anyone here.

I wonder if Wisconsin, Iowa, Minnesota, and other area FBS programs will offer him something.

If not...we have a fair shot at landing a recruit like Justin. Maybe not a 'good' shot...but fair.

Juckem would probably have an offer from Wisconsin right now if he hadn't suffered a concussion during their camp. The kid is an awesome athlete and football player, but has had some issues with injuries.

This will be very common depending on the positions. Different coach, different philosphy at the school up north.
