Congrats on a job well done. Not everyone can lead a team through a transition as well as he did. He was the right man for the job!!! Great leadership gets you great results!!!! Just think of all the phone calls and meetings he has done in the last five years while working on conference affiliations, getting schedules put together without conferences and all the other AD jobs.

Gene deserves all ackolades thrown his way. I'm sure he'll be inducted into the NDSU HOF in the future. Since it was the Astroturf AD award he one does that mean he's going to get a discount on some new turf for the dome?
