Boycott Sports City @ West Acres!!!

Ok.... here's my RANT.

Saturday march 22nd. I walk past Sports City in the FARGO mall.

in the front displays, its all twins gear and SIOUX gear. lots of it.

I walk in ask for the manager, he say's 'im the owner'

I ask, where's the NDSU stuff? Im really jacked for the NCAA big dance and the football schedule next year.

he walks me to the back and say's "oh I got plenty of ndsu stuff back here"

I stare right at him and say "you do know this is FARGO, don't you?"

He said "it goes right in one ear and out the next"

I say, "did you really just say that as a BUSINESS OWNER in Fargo? You do realize this is FARGO?.... then I start walking out yelling as LOUD AS I CAN"

"1 ear and out the other huh, I will GO OUT of my way to make sure no one buys from you and it wont go in 1 ear and out the other!!!"

I also shop at Scheels and the Varsity Mart. What's funny is that you guys in Fargo think you have it rough, I live in Bis. and you have no idea. Everyone and their dog is a Sioux fan in this town. BWW had a huge Sioux party today for the hockey game, no one cares spit about NDSU. A guy at work asked who I was rooting for Men's NCAA, I said Oral Roberts b/c NDSU is in their conference. He looked at me and said, "Yeah right, NDSU isn't DI basketball" I just stared at him.

Have you guys ever thought that there are tons of places in Fargo that sell just NDSU stuff and that some other businesses want to differentiate themselves by selling both NDSU and University of North Dakota apparel in ... North Dakota.

scheels has a wide variety of Sioux stuff too that would not have slid twenty years ago. on second thought, how many places in GF have bison stuff all over like fargo has sioux stuff?

I wanted a new Bison hat before the FB season started, and happened to be in the mall (my first mistake) so I checked out Sports City. At that time, they had 4 different NDSU hats and 15+ Sioux hats. No way I ever go back there. I of course then went to Scheels and bought one.

The only thing that bothers me worse than Fargo stores pushing the UND crap is the number of NDSU STUDENTS wearing Sioux clothing on campus. Seriously?! Why would you do that? Really makes me question some people.

Are the people on the UND campus that wear Bison gear?
