Summit League season starts

The Bison travel to IUPUI for 3 games to start the Summit League softball season this weekend.

The remainder of the schedule is mostly Summit games, along with 2 each against Minnesota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

Rain washed out the first weekend play at IUPUI.

Snow will most likely cancel the home opener this weekend!

This weekend's conference home games might be moved to Omaha. (I guess maybe they don't have snow on the ground down there.)

The games against UMKC which were scheduled to be played in Fargo this weekend now appear on the gobison website as being in Omaha. I would guess the Kangaroos wouldnt object to the shorter drive!

To bad they could not have moved it to Bismarck so other NDSU fans could see them play.

I supposed they figure the snow risk would still be there. I know that MSU and Mary played earlier this week at Mary.
