It appears that Assistant Coach John Ross is a finalist for the Head Coaching Job at St. Cloud. I would hate to see the bison lose him but understand that he may be interested in running his own program.

John is the man...I used to play horse against him in the BSA.

That program at SCSU has been mismanaged from the start.

I'm sure if Coach Ross gets the opportunity he'll be able to get it pointed in the right direction.

The USD coach was just named the HC at St. Cloud today.

Maybe Coach Ross with throw his name in the had at USD.

    Interesting that's for sure.

Refresh my memory - has USD also tossed their hat into the DI ring? (Don't bother. I just went and checked it out.)

I'm wondering why she'd bail after having success at USD and they've never really had any success at SCSU. (There's your answer I bet. A less stressful DII environment versus a DI environment with no conference.)

Although St. Cloud vs. Vermillion pretty much says it all.

True Vermillion is a tough sell.

Knowing SDSC I'm sure being a female coach played a large part.

John will get, and deserves, a head job somewhere soon, but I am glad he is still here.
I am not sure why someone would go from a new DI program to a not great DII program. There must be something that makes the transition at USD look pretty bad. On the other hand she didn't have that great of a record at USD so I guess maybe they deserve each other?
